Pelvic Floor Therapy

Stronger. Tighter. You.

At Reform Chiropractic & Wellness Hub, our goal is to help you move, feel, and live with confidence, and Pelvic Floor Therapy (Emsella) is one of the most innovative tools we offer to support that mission. Whether you're experiencing bladder leakage, pelvic floor weakness after childbirth, or age-related changes in pelvic health, Emsella provides a comfortable, non-invasive solution to strengthen the pelvic floor and improve quality of life. With no downtime and no need to undress, Emsella helps restore control, confidence, and wellness from the inside out.

What Is Emsella / Pelvic Floor Therapy?

Emsella is a non-invasive pelvic floor therapy that uses HIFEM technology to strengthen the muscles that support the bladder, core, and pelvic organs. During treatment, patients sit comfortably and fully clothed while the device delivers thousands of powerful pelvic floor contractions, equivalent to thousands of powerful Kegel exercises in a single session. Emsella can help improve bladder control, reduce urinary leakage, strengthen the core, and restore confidence without surgery, discomfort, or downtime.

How it works?

How long is the treatment? How many sessions do I need?

Emsella treatments are quick, comfortable, and designed to fit into your busy schedule. Each session lasts approximately 30 minutes, during which you remain fully clothed while the device delivers thousands of powerful pelvic floor contractions. There is no pain, no recovery time, and you can return to your normal activities immediately after treatment.

For optimal results, most patients complete a series of six treatments over three weeks, typically scheduled twice per week. Many patients begin noticing improvements after just a few sessions, with continued benefits throughout the treatment plan. Your provider will help determine the best treatment schedule based on your symptoms, goals, and overall pelvic health needs.

What does the procedure feel like? Is it painful?

During an Emsella treatment, you will sit comfortably and fully clothed in a specialized chair while the device delivers powerful pelvic floor muscle contractions. Most patients describe the sensation as a gentle tingling or tapping in the pelvic area, along with rhythmic muscle contractions similar to performing Kegel exercises. You can relax, read, or use your phone during the session while the treatment does the work for you.

No, Emsella is not considered painful. The treatment is completely non-invasive and does not involve surgery, needles, or downtime. While you will feel your pelvic floor muscles contracting throughout the session, the sensation is generally well-tolerated and comfortable for most patients. Treatment intensity can also be adjusted to ensure a positive experience while still delivering effective results.

How fast will I see results?

Many patients begin noticing improvements in bladder control and pelvic floor strength after just a few Emsella sessions. However, results vary from person to person depending on factors such as symptom severity, age, and overall pelvic health. The best results are typically experienced after completing the full recommended treatment series of six sessions. As the pelvic floor muscles become stronger, patients often report fewer leaks, better control, increased confidence, and an overall improvement in quality of life. Continued improvements may occur in the weeks following treatment as muscle strength continues to develop.
